Built and in use
Situation. The month-end close consisted of recurring processing, checks and output into HFM.
What I built. A fixed close run for Exact/D365 with validation, mappings, processing and controls.
Result. From around three working days to a maximum of two hours. The steps and output are controllable, auditable and adaptable.
Technology: Exact, D365, HFM/SmartView, Python.
Situation. The quarter-end close previously took around three working days each quarter.
What I built. An HFM/JSOX closing package with fixed processing, controls and traceable output.
Result. It now takes around one and a half hours to run. Exceptions remain visible and the work is easy to follow and adapt.

Situation. Standard PDF tasks required licences even though the work itself was simple and recurring.
What I built. An internal tool to merge, rotate, split and optimise PDFs.
Result. Built in around half an hour and now used almost every day within the company.
Status: live internal solution.
Situation. Operational data in CargoWise needed usable reporting and management information.
What I built. Reports, dashboards and management information from CargoWise data.
Result. Source data was made usable for daily management.

In an international finance environment, I worked on DSO improvement, credit control and the setup of an €80M+ factoring facility. Open items, limits, sales agreements, escalations and management information came together in this work.
Technology: SAP S/4HANA, finance data and reporting.
Under deal pressure, I helped standardize finance processes and set up reporting and ERP preparation around shared definitions, controls and responsibilities.
This enabled more than 200 locations to work with the same definitions, processes and controls.
An extensive D365 implementation design, developed at Black Belt level. The plan brings process, configuration, controls, data and implementation steps together.
Status: completed design and implementation plan.

An audit-ready expense solution for smaller organizations, without the overhead of a large expense platform.
Status: nearly complete.
A tool for insight into employee efficiency and the differences behind the figures.
